Tradition, then a lab report

Slow methods are only half the promise. The other half is proving, batch after batch, that the food in the pack is what the label says it is.

Formulated on published data

Every nutrient value we print is calculated from IFCT 2020 (National Institute of Nutrition) and benchmarked against ICMR RDA, then confirmed on the finished blend.

Recipe optimisation

The bisi bele bath ratio was optimised using Response Surface Methodology, so taste, texture and the fibre-protein target hold together rather than trading off.

Moisture and microbiology

Mixes are checked for moisture, total plate count, yeast and mould before packing, which is why we blend to order rather than to stock.

Grain and pesticide screening

Incoming little millet, green gram and flaxseed lots are screened on a rotating multi-residue panel, with a full panel on every new farm cluster we add.

Evidence-based nutrition

  • Little millet: better glycaemic response than polished rice
  • Flaxseed omega-3 (ALA): supports cardiovascular and lipid health
  • High fibre: supports satiety, bowel regularity and slower glucose release
  • Green gram: complements millet protein for a fuller amino acid profile

Clean label promise

Nothing on the label that is not in the food

No artificial colours, synthetic flavours, preservatives, emulsifiers, maltodextrin, or added sugar hidden behind another name. If a product is sweetened, the front of the pack says what sweetened it.
